Meet Becket

Becket Dawson, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed and board-certified speech-language pathologist and is the founder and owner of Speech Horizons, LLC. She is an experienced clinician who has been practicing speech-language therapy since 2008. She has treated a variety of ages, pathologies and severities across the life span through early intervention (birth-3), schools, private practices, nursing homes, hospitals, and telepractice. Her specialty areas include early intervention, autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and speech sound disorders, and receptive/expressive language disorders and delays. 

Becket graduated from Towson University with an undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. 

She strives for a child-centered approach to communication through play-based therapy and serves families in a variety of settings, including homes, outdoors, and community areas. 

In her free time, Becket spends time with family and friends, and enjoys yoga, traveling and the outdoors.
